Very pleased to announce that Writing Workshops in Greece will return to Thasos in Summer, 2023. Our program will run for three weeks (June 21 to July 12th), though shorter stays with us are easy to arrange. We will begin in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city, and then travel by bus to the remote Alyki peninsula on the island of Thasos.

Regular participants attend daily generative workshop sessions with faculty, but we offer a residency option as well (for those who prefer self-structured writing time). Our faculty this summer will include Lauren K. Alleyne, Joanna Eleftheriou,  Amanda Michalopoulou, Christopher Bakken, and Panayotis Paddy League.
